This workshop is a one day intensive look at the basics of calligraphy as well as advanced techniques in calligraphy. After taking this workshop, you'll leave with a solid understanding of how to properly use the pointed pen calligraphy tools, mix custom colors, and design your own alphabet.

Hey ladies + gents. I've been getting lots and lots of emails asking me when I'll be teaching my next calligraphy workshop.

The past few calligraphy classes that I taught at Proper Studio and Pot & Box were so much fun and all of my students caught on to the techniques really quickly.  This next upcoming workshop is taking things up a notch, teaching both Calligraphy & Hand Lettering.  It's going to be a two-day intensive workshop where I will teach you the basics of calligraphy & lettering (there's a difference between the two!) as well as advanced tutorials on manipulating your hand lettering in photoshop, creating vector lettering, and mixing custom ink colors.

Last year I swore to myself that I would be attending the National Stationery Show in 2013. This past year has brought a whirlwind of opportunities and although I won't be attending the show this year, I'll be there in creative spirit.

Above is a little peek at the custom font that I helped create for Smock.  Smock will be debuting all of their new designs (including our new font) at NSS this year! Stop by booth #2341 to see all of their stationery goodness come to life!
